Getting Started

Process your first batch of connect cards in minutes.

1Sign In

Go to dispatch.church/login and click "Sign in with Google." Select your Google account and you're in!

New organizations automatically start with a 14-day free trial including 50 cards to try the service.

2Upload Connect Cards

  1. Go to the Upload page
  2. Scan your connect cards to a single PDF file (front and back)
  3. Drag and drop or select your PDF to upload
  4. Dispatch automatically splits the batch into individual cards

3Review Extracted Data

Our AI reads each card and extracts:

  • Contact information — names, addresses, phone numbers, emails
  • Responses — checkboxes, interest areas, decisions
  • Free-text fields — prayer requests, comments, notes

Review each card, make corrections if needed, and approve.

4Route & Notify

Once approved, Dispatch automatically:

  • Routes cards to the right teams based on your rules
  • Sends follow-up emails (welcome messages, prayer confirmations)
  • Notifies staff teams about new visitors, prayer requests, and more

Quick Tips

  • Scan quality matters — 300 DPI or higher works best
  • Front and back — scan both sides of each card for the best results
  • Always review — AI extraction is very accurate but not perfect, especially with handwriting
  • Set up routing rules — configure rules in Settings to automate team notifications

What is Dispatch?

Dispatch is an AI-powered connect card processing platform for churches. Upload your scanned connect cards, and Dispatch extracts handwritten data, routes information to the right teams, and sends automated follow-up emails — saving hours of manual data entry every week.

How accurate is the AI extraction?

Our AI achieves high accuracy on printed text and most handwriting. However, accuracy varies depending on handwriting legibility, scan quality, and card condition. We always recommend reviewing extracted data before approving.

What types of cards does Dispatch support?

Dispatch works with any connect card layout. During setup, our card template analyzer learns your card's specific fields and layout. Whether your cards have checkboxes, free-text fields, or a mix of both — Dispatch can handle them.

How do I upgrade or cancel?

Go to Settings > Billing to manage your subscription. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Do unused cards roll over?

No, card allowances reset at the start of each billing period.

Using Dispatch

What file format should I upload?

Upload your connect cards as a PDF file. Scan all cards (front and back) into a single PDF. We recommend 300 DPI or higher for best results.

How long does processing take?

Batch splitting takes a few seconds. AI extraction typically processes each card in 5-15 seconds. A batch of 20 cards usually completes within a few minutes.

Can I customize routing rules?

Yes! Go to Settings > Routing to set up rules. You can route cards based on checkbox values, keywords in text fields, or detected crisis situations. Each rule can trigger email notifications to specific team members.

Can I customize the email templates?

Yes. Go to Settings > Emails to customize notification templates. You can edit the content for welcome messages, prayer confirmations, team notifications, and more. Each template can be enabled or disabled individually.

Privacy & Security

How is connect card data protected?
  • All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest
  • Row-level security ensures organizations can only see their own data
  • Card images use signed URLs (no public access)
  • Google OAuth authentication (no passwords stored)
  • We never share your data with third parties for marketing
Can I delete my data?

Yes. You can delete individual cards, entire batches, or your full account. Contact support@dispatch.church for full account deletion requests.

Technical Issues

My upload failed or timed out
  1. Check your internet connection
  2. Ensure the PDF is under 100MB
  3. Try again — occasional timeouts can happen
  4. If the problem persists, contact support
The extraction looks wrong

AI extraction accuracy depends on handwriting quality and scan resolution. You can edit any extracted field before approving. If you consistently see issues with a specific card layout, try re-analyzing the card template in Settings > Templates.

I can't sign in
  1. Make sure you're using a Google account
  2. Try clearing cookies for dispatch.church
  3. Try an incognito/private browser window
  4. Check if your organization blocks third-party sign-ins
